One of the most influential architects of the 20th century, Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, who went by the name "Le Corbusier," was also renowned for his contributions to modern furniture design. His tubular steel furniture pieces are celebrated for their minimalist design, embodying a relaxed and timeless elegance.
Our Petite Sofa (one seater) is inspired by the Le Corbusier LC2 Sofa and is crafted in our own factory. The sofa features a frame made of high-gauge tubular stainless steel, polished to a mirror-like finish, with mitered corners ground to a soft radius. The feet are equipped with adjustable height glides, and the webbing consists of 2" nylon with hooks to secure it to the frame.
For the cushions, we use top-grain leather on all exposed surfaces. Inside each cushion is high-density, high-resilience (HR) multi-density polyurethane foam. The side and back cushions are wrapped in Dacron, while the top of the seat cushions includes a "pillow" of goose/duck down feathers, also wrapped in Dacron.
